Here's an innovative use of Intercept Technology Packaging, brought to the mining industry by our Intercept Technology Group colleagues in the Asia Pacific Region.
The IMPS is a special Mineral Preservation System, specifically designed for packaging pulp mineral samples, core samples and chip finds. After the bore, the samples must be well protected so that future investigations under actual conditions are possible in a laboratory. The IMPS System provides a long term protection by preventing oxidation of samples during sorting, transport, storage and can therefore protect the samples optimally, substituting the use of other costly conservation methods.
